Asperger’s/High Functioning Autism Parent Support Group Schedule and Upcoming Topics

  • Offering camaraderie, encouragement and hope for parents, grandparents and other caregivers of children on the Autism spectrum, this support group meets on the second Thursday of each month at Old Saybrook Youth and Family Services, 322 Main Street, Old Saybrook.
  • Each session addresses a specific, timely topic; topic-specific handouts with insights from experts are available at every meeting.
  • To accommodate work schedules and childcare needs, two meeting times are available, 12:30-2 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m.
  • The group is facilitated by Joanne Deal, M.A., Professional Counseling.
