Old Saybrook Recreation
From the coastline to the coastal forest, Old Saybrook is a small town with a big variety of recreational activities.
On foot or on bike, enjoy nature your way in the Preserve with over 1,000 acres of preserved coastal forest offering adventure on miles of trails with a variety of terrain, wildlife and flora to discover. If you prefer the paved route, the seven mile, scenic loop along the coastline never fails to satisfy.
The waters of the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound create miles of coastline with beaches, marinas, and boat launches for all manner of water activities. You don't always have to be moving, however. We strongly encourage slowing down once in a while to enjoy the view. 
We have some of the best recreational facilities along the shoreline for events, programs and sports in beautiful locations. For example, we believe the views from Saybrook Point Mini Golf and Fenwick's 9-Hole Public Golf course are as grand as those of the Pebble Beach Golf Club.
