Special Town Meeting

Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Old Saybrook will be held at the Old Saybrook Town Hall, 1st floor conference room, 302 Main Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on June 23, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. (or following the Public Hearing, whichever time is later) for the following purposes:

To act upon the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen to approve two applications for the Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) (Connecticut General Statutes Sections 12-631-12-638):

The Connecticut Sports Foundation Against Cancer: $150,000 based on the NAA’s Energy Conservation Program tax credit of 100%.

The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center: an amount up to $150,000 based on the NAA’s Energy Conservation Program tax credit of 100%.
