Zoom - Board/Commission Members

Members of Boards and Commissions and other invited attendees are pre-registered for town Zoom meetings. 

To ensure smoooth admission to the meeting, please connect to the meeting at least a few minutes early. Once an online meeting has started the meeting clerk will be busy taking the minutes and may not be focusing attention on handling late joining attendees. 

Using the Pre-Registration Link:

Prior to the meetings, members and invited attendees will receive reminder emails from ZoomAdministrator@OldSaybrookCT.gov

These email messages have the subject "Panelist for...[target meeting]" and contain a "Click Here to Join" link. When used, this link will automatically log you in as a panelist with full video and audio capabilities

Connecting via Public Access:

If you choose to connect to the meeting using any of the "public" access methods, you will initially be connected with both your microphone and webcam muted. The meeting clerk or facilitator will need to promote you to full participant status.

  • If connecting as an audio-only, dial-in attendee , please provide the clerk or facilitator with your phone number so your connection can be recognized
  • If connecting as a public video attendee, please name your Zoom session in a way that the  clerk or facilitator will recognize you
