Old Saybrook CommUNITY Day
Mark your calendars for Old Saybrook’s annual Community Day 2019 on Saturday, September 21st from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the Old Saybrook Town Green! Rain date is the following day, Sunday, September 22nd, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Community Day is a statewide recognized celebration of the importance of the family in shaping the future of our children. Locally, Old Saybrook Youth and Family services has adopted Community Day as its annual opportunity to promote positive activities and intergenerational fun for all ages to enjoy. This much anticipated community event celebrates our families as well as this fabulous community in which we live. Gather your family and friends for a day of FUN!
Old Saybrook’s Community Day has grown significantly since its initial inception and now regularly attracts over 1000 participants-enjoying music, food, games, dancing and other fun-filled activities.
Local businesses, civic organizations, clubs, community groups and performers of all ages are invited to join us in this year’s festivities by sponsoring a booth, offering a family activity or sharing your talents on our event stage.
