Police Commission

In June of 1958 pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes, Section 9-201, a five member Board of Police Commissioners was established for the purpose of organizing and maintaining a Police Department in the Town of Old Saybrook. A revision to the town charter on November 2, 2004 increased the police commission to a seven member board.

The Old Saybrook Police Commission meets on the 4th Monday of each Month. Meetings begin at 6:30 PM and are held in the First Floor Conference Room of the Old Saybrook Town Hall.

Agendas for Regular and Special Meetings are posted with the Town Clerk at least twenty four hours prior to each meeting.
