RiverCOG Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale

Composter Bin

Interested in Composting or Saving Rain Water?

Composting is a practical way to reduce waste, combat climate change and save money on trash disposal and gardening materials. Composting turns your yard and kitchen waste into “black gold” that improves your soil and feeds your plants. It’s easy to do and the benefits are terrific!

Rain barrels collect water from house gutters and the water can be used on gardens and other plantings. The water is chlorine free and the life in the soil love it. Rain barrels can significantly reduce water usage and save homeowners money.

The City of Middletown Public Works Department and The Lower CT River Valley Council of Governments are working together to offer this to help residents conserve water, reduce waste and save money!
