Press Release from Old Saybrook First Selectman Carl P. Fortuna, Jr. and Public Works Director Larry Bonin
In September or shortly thereafter, anyone seeking to use the Old Saybrook Transfer Station will need a Transfer Station sticker affixed to their windshield. The sticker is free and may be obtained in Town Hall at the Selectman’s office or in the Town Clerk’s office. Those wishing to obtain a sticker must show their license and vehicle registration.
The Town will track the make and model of the vehicle for cross referencing at the Transfer Station. Since this is a new program, we want to give ample notice and opportunity to Old Saybrook residents who need a sticker.
Thank you for your patience while we implement this program. Stickers will be available at the end of August and the Town will engage in public outreach at that time.
