On Monday, December 9, 2019, Old Saybrook will celebrate Vietnam-era veterans in a ceremony at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center. The program will begin at 5:00 p.m. While the town has conducted outreach to its local veterans of the Vietnam conflict, we are inviting the Old Saybrook community to this ceremony which will be a special occasion. We expect the Lt. Governor, Susan Bysiewicz, and the Commissioner of The Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Thomas J. Saadi, to be present. Seating is limited and, of course, our veterans and their families come first.
