Main St / Maple Ave Traffic Light Update

From the First Selectman:

Many residents have called about the traffic light “mess” at Main Street and Maple Avenue. I have communicated with the CT DOT several times over the last few months, and today received another update, which said:

Presently we are working to get the electrical inspections preformed and have been told it is expect to be done this week. Once that is signed off, Eversource is expected to come in within the following two weeks (assuming no weather issues) and provide power.

The energized system will allow us to start the 30 day functionality period to ensure proper system operation.
